What colours should I paint my room?
Right now, it's all light blue, so forget that. Now, it's a small, claustrophobic room, under the eaves. The sloped ceilings curve into the actual ceiling, so that'll have to be the same colour as the walls. It has old floor, with big, rough, wide boards that are also painted blue. The colour has to go with medium darkness wood trim--there's douglas fir woodwork that I'm not painting over. That's it. Oh, it's on the east side, and is REALLY bright in the morning.
play around with the Sherwin Williams color visualizer to find colors that you like. It is the best paint visualizer on the web, imho. I like how their color palette is laid out, I like that you can search by color family & color name, the "painted" rooms look the most realistic, and it suggests coordinating color schemes. You can literally spend hours:

I think "eider white" (# 7014) would be a good choice.
You can also take a photo of your house & upload it to the makeover gallery on this website:

You can get color suggestions & for $5 they'll photoshop them onto your room so that you can get an idea of what it will look like
