Does type of lighter matter for lighting a cigar?
PLEASE READ:
I Have been told to use a butane lighter for lighting cigars as petrol lighters ruin the taste, What I want to know is, Does it matter whether you use a jet flame butane lighter, or a regular flame butane lighter. All the instructional videos from professionals on youtube use jet flamed butane lighters,
but as long as it's butane, can I use a regular flame?
Any butane lighter will work. I have used a cheap ol bic lighter to light a cigar, all the way up to a jet butane lighter. I prefer the jet lighters, as they are easier and quicker to light a cigar out doors which is good for me, as I smoke cigars when out riding my horses.
