Where can I find a cut-to-fit replacement carbon pre-filter for my Hepa air purifier?
In the past we bought this stuff for $ 10 per box and got (3-4?) Sliced pieces of it. We bought it at Lowes in Burbank, California. But, we have moved to a new city and do not know where to find the spot. Local hardware stores do not seem to carry it and I have a hard time finding it online. Could be because it's late and I'm tired and my google-fu is weak today. This looks like the air purifier we have the same model: http://www.amazon.com/Whirlpool-Whispure-450-Purifier-AP45030S/dp/B000ELQMPM/ I'm not looking for the Whirlpool brand because it seems about three times as expensive. I would rather pay a fraction of the price and cut them to adapt as we have since we bought the damn thing. Can anyone point me in the right direction?
I assume you have no moving in the Lowes or HD local for you? Certainly they have websites and catalog / online. Clear to me is to start that way, but you can also connect with the MFG. for links to dealers, an AC contractor, etc. At first you might not be happy, but that's why we are blessed with a choice, persistence, and often a desire to shop. It is also possible that at least once, you'll have to plunge and pay a little more. Steven Wolf
