How did I get signed up for Kool cigarettes monthly gifts and am I getting charged for them?
I've been getting items in the mail from Kool cigarettes (i've never smoked a cigarette in my life) lately...first a rap dvd box set (don't like rap), then a magazine or something, now some speakers. I haven't noticed any weird charges to my card so it appears I'm getting them free but I can't imagine that's the case. I ordered a Bender Ball a while ago and I know I signed up for their monthly re-order thing which i've been TRYING to cancel but their lines are always "too busy try again later" so I keep getting charged for a bunch of crap I don't want. But now I'm getting so much crap in the mail I can't keep track of when they're charging me for what so I'm not sure if these kool things are from them too, or if I'm getting charged.
Anyone else part of this mailing list who can tell me if I'm getting charged?
well only advice i can give is to keep calling them or see if their website has a email that you can contact to stop getting the monthly gifts. usually the faster way these days are by email. i was on the phone for over 30 minutes on hold to a phone company just to cancel something they were charging me for that i didnt authorized. and by the time i got ahold of someone they just ended up giving me a different number to call and be on hold again for awhile. surprisingly some cigarettes companys have websites. so if Kool has one then try emailing them and telling them to stop.
