The "check gauges" light is constantly on in my car?
I have a 96 Ford Thunderbird and the "check gauges" light is on constantly, it's not the gas or the washer fluid, I filled both and it's still on. What does it mean? Could it be an electrical problem? The car runs great and seems to me to be in tip top shape other than this light that won't go off.
Start by checking your gauges. Oil pressure, Coolant Temp, Charging System Output. Look at the gauges and see what doesn't look right.
