Why does rolling tobacco get such a bad rap?
Quite often, I purchase cans of Bugler or American Spirit rolling tobacco in lieu of packs of cigarettes. Sometimes I buy the little packs of Top they sell at the local grocery store. It took some getting used to, but after mastering the rolling technique, it's about all I smoke. Upon analyzing the quality (comparing it to tobacco extracted from factory- rolled tobacco), the strands seem to be longer, less powdery. There appears to be less evidence of reconstituted sheet material, and you can definitely taste fewer additives. I don't understand why everyone pans it as such a poor alternative to name brand cigarettes. It seems to be a case of corporate propaganda infiltrating the public mindset. Opinions? Data?
There is nothing wrong with it but people think your smoking weed.
